YOUTUBERS react to hearing U2 songs for first time
« on: April 23, 2022, 08:58:24 PM »
On a positive U2 note I found myself checking out Youtube channels (mainly younger folks) listening to U2 songs for the first time.  Love the reactions.  Almost jealous they are listening with virgin ears.  Total joy to watch.

Some of the reviewers aren't the most articulate with words after the fact.  But what I found interesting is the reactions during the songs.
I started with Pride, my favorite.

This guy had best head rhythm.  Yes,  it's about MLK.

I think this girl starts to cry when she realize who the song is about.

This kid loves it.  Needs to get the memo that the song is almost 40 years old.

The giant Miller High Life can is a nice touch.  This guy is great.

We should get An Tha to log on and explain to them that everything sucks except the Hong Kong remixes.
Listen as Hope and Peace try to rhyme,
Listen over marching bands playing out their time.

I am also obsessed with U2 reactions, particularly love the girl in the second video's reaction to All I Want Is You/Streets from Slane Castle.

Her first ever U2 reaction, so seeing her react to hearing Bono's voice for the first time is great, also when he hits that long high note inbetween the songs.

Might have mentioned before that I became obsessed with U2 at the time WAR was released. So for me, Pride was the first  new  U2 song I heard after becoming a fan. I still remember vividly the chills it gave me the first time I heard it on the radio. Really not surprised by those reactions above.
