...how lucky we are to be U2 fans. 40+ years old and still producing interesting music.

14th album just released and we're arguing about which song is the best !  ;D

Yeh your dead right I've been into this band since I was 13 & i turned 50 yesterday , we are so so lucky that our band are still making interesting & good music

A lot of other fan bases aren't so lucky with the longevity or still getting new stuff. Whatever I think of the new songs, I'm definitely grateful!

Not many bands 40 years old are the same lineup of guys and still make new music.

It is nice that we can still get artistry from U2 and that they still want to make new music and tour.

Yup.
Off the top of my head I can't think of many with the original line up who have been together as long without breaking up/taking hiatus within a forty year time span

I am so grateful to these four guys.  The crescendo on "Little Things" on the album, where they are all giving it their all, really choked me up.  Nothing but gratitude and respect for four guys who know how to hold it together when everything else is falling apart.

I do feel like I missed out on a lot having only gotten into them properly a few years ago. Still, it's crazy for me to get my head around how long they've been making quality music for. That being said, I was born during Popmart  ;D
