I so so so wish this song mix had been kept up their sleeve for 3 years only to show up on this album.

So Universal.  So Effing Good.

Hated it 3 years ago, hate it now.

It should not be anywhere near this album.
What are we going to do now it's all been said.
No new ideas in the house and every book has been read.

Not my favorite, either. But it's the only song 14 years old girls really liked (I heard one singing it in high school

This version is better, though

I doubt anything could make me love OL. I wish I could write it out of U2s history with a magic marker

I don't think the new version is as horrible as showman. But still not a fave song for me.

I like the song but this remix is quite useless. And they succeeded to make it a lot worse than the original by swapping Edges cool middle eight/outro guitar riff with an awful synthetizer. What was the point? The crusade against guitars continues.

I like this version of OL. The synth beefs up the sound to me and it has a good groove.

Too screechy. They need to play in a key Bono can actually sing in.
Listen as Hope and Peace try to rhyme,
Listen over marching bands playing out their time.

You can knock it, but it's (surprisingly) U2's most celebrated song release in 10 years: won a golden globe, nominated for an Oscar.

Haven't cared for this song.  I do like the new version of Song For Someone.  Much cooler.
