No matter what your opinion of Sting is… this is one of the best conversations about songwriting I’ve heard.

Fantastic interview indeed  :D

Sting brings up so many interesting observations in the conversation. As does his partner Dom.

I feel that very quickly, they both realized that this was not your normal type of interview. Great questions from Rick.

I wish he’d do more interviews like this. Peter Gabriel would be great.

His song breakdowns are great. He loves Larry Mullens drumming. Watched I Still Haven’t Found and In Gods Country this week.

He’s taught his audience a lot. I’m not keeping pace with him concept for concept, believe me, but over time I’m getting the general idea.

Well, believe it or not but I got to meet Mr Gordon Sumner yesterday and talked a bit about the whole « the bridge is the therapy of the song Â» thing. No need to say the lad impressed me both on and off stage.
