U2 Experience (Amazon) stream thread

Anyone listening?  Really interesting interview clips. They just played a really raw cut of A Day Without Me...probably pre-Boy recording sessions.

Hope this gets recorded somehow.

* 2000 interview - Bono talking about IALW, says he lost his voice and that it made the track sound like 'an Al Green' thing.  Cue In A Little While.
* 2014 interview - One of the band members (Larry?) talking about how difficult it was for them to make albums, how U2 was always the underdog - "the runt of the pack".  Cue Cedarwood Road.
* Live talk about early days - Bono talks about opening for a wet tee shirt contest in Dallas Texas, 1982 at a club in a strip mall called Cardi's. Bono describes themselves as 'travel rats'.  Cue Brick Through A Window (I love this song!)
* 2017 talks about Songs of Experience, Bono says he looks at it differently than when he was 17 (referencing SOI); says in retrospect the biggest obstacle you face may be yourself.  Cue Little Things.
* Live WOWY Boston 2017
* 1997 Adam interview talking about U2 wanting to be involved in the next big thing, and wanting to be a great live act, having grand ambitions for Pop songs live. Edge talking about the spirit of U2 - always being current not stagnant [paraphrasing due to quick talking]. Cue Gone.
* 1987 Bono Interview talking about the US how they love it and how Brits are jealous.  How great it was to be walking the streets of Chicago or Memphis. Talks about the love affair with the US but that the big ideas of the US were in peril. Talks about excess materialism and literally says all of Wall Street was shoveling mountains (of you know what) up their nose...all that success and America felt like a desert...which is what they chose as the theme for TJT. Cue One Tree Hill.
* 1980 whole band interview talking about the demo sessions. Talking about the new LP Boy! Talks about Shadows and Tall Trees. Band talks about how they put it together in studio. Cue SATT studio version.
* 1991 Bono interview talking about how rock isn't one thing. Talking about how they weren't going to leave anything out of the music and nothing was off the table.  He says they mouth off...that's what they do in his culture.  Cue Zoo Station.

Okay I might log more later...I'm falling asleep.

Oh wow...

1984 clip of radio show in Syracuse; caller asks Adam about inspiration for Unforgettable Fire and the exhibit in Chicago...Adam talks about Hiroshima/Nagasaki. Cue Unforgettable Fire (my favorite U2 song! - sign of a good day ahead perhaps?)

*1992 interview with Bono about the uptightness of the 80s, criticism of U2, and cue Acrobat!

This is a real fan's stream...they aren't just cherry picking top hits...there's some deep cuts in this.
