Aldous Harding Thread
« on: August 23, 2021, 10:31:58 AM »
Any love out there from Aldous Harding. I have to say, I really enjoy a lot of what i have heard from this New Zealand song bird. Anyone with me on this?
In the garden I was playing the tart
I kissed your lips and broke your heart
You
You were acting like it was the end of the world

Yes!

Her 2017 album 'Party' is one i listen to a fair bit.

Produced by a certain gentleman by the name of John Parish....who i am sure you know has a very close association with a certain female artist.....

Just watching Aldous' Tiny Desk performance. Man, it is so good. You can tell this lass performs from way deeper place, than most artists

Abi Harding from the Zutons is another cool member of the Harding family.
"There's nothing wrong with U2. As far as I'm concerned, I've stolen from Larry Mullen's career for years. Without Larry, I wouldn't be able to stomp and sing, it'd be difficult. I mean I owe debts to the Bhundu Boys, Larry Mullen, Stewart Copeland. They're good players, and they're great songwriters" - Gary "Reni" Wren, drummer, The Stone Roses reunion press conference, 18/10/2011

"I'd just like to put on record that that's bobbins" - Ian Brown, singer, ditto
