  • can't fight for sh-- but sure can take a beating
that's pretty good.  also there's a part in zoolander where he's wearing a miner outfit on the runway that could easily have been included to mock the RHT video.

I like that Better Call Saul is playing Larry Mullen Jnr (according to the comments)

also enjoyed the little person, guess that is homage to an Leprechaun or maybe the AIWIY video   ;D

Mr Kinkaid, the manager Paul McGuinness could have been.

And Ben Stiller can't do accents.

I feel mixed here. Definitely entertaining. But I felt like whoever wrote this *seemed* to know about U2, what with the Paul Mc$ character and stuff like the R&H references - but didn't really. I am here and ready to find a parody of obnoxious Bono funny - but the stuff he was saying just seemed generically rock-star obnoxious, and not Bono-obnoxious. And Bono is a gold mine, so much to work with.

That show where the puppets were doing U2, it was the guitar shake that made "Edge" funny, because it was an observation, an accurate vision. This didn't seem to have much of an accurate vision.

Still entertaining. I guess the "play the blues" was an accurate observstion, correctly picking up that line as significant and the nature of the solo that followed.

Let's not be so formal. "Slippin' Jimmy," please.  :D

I think it was an accurate reflection of Bono's ZooTV-era interviews.  The whole thing "you people want me to be a god" etc is a direct reference to one of those interviews.

I do remember the interview that looked like that one. He said something like that? Jesus wept.

They want you to be Jesus, they'll go down on one knee, but they'll want their money back if you're alive at 33

The sketch was just referring to the song, then?

Meh.
