I feel mixed here. Definitely entertaining. But I felt like whoever wrote this *seemed* to know about U2, what with the Paul Mc$ character and stuff like the R&H references - but didn't really. I am here and ready to find a parody of obnoxious Bono funny - but the stuff he was saying just seemed generically rock-star obnoxious, and not Bono-obnoxious. And Bono is a gold mine, so much to work with.
That show where the puppets were doing U2, it was the guitar shake that made "Edge" funny, because it was an observation, an accurate vision. This didn't seem to have much of an accurate vision.
Still entertaining. I guess the "play the blues" was an accurate observstion, correctly picking up that line as significant and the nature of the solo that followed.
