This was actually one of the ones I was most hopeful would get a full 4k upgrade since this is taken from Rattle and Hum rushes, which I think were 35mm for the color scenes.  Maybe those original reels are lost.

Pretty sure the reels belong to Paramount and they do not wish to spend a cent on it.

That said... they dusted off some R&H footage for ę from the sky down Ľ, so why not this ?

Yeah, they would also probably have to go find every reel used in this and then rescan all of those and then go back and re-edit the entire thing from those reels.  They had to do that with the Last Christmas 4k re-do, and I imagine whoever has been hired to do these isn't gonna spend that kind of money and put in that kind of time, especially when they have to do 1 of these every week.

I must have seen this in the last few years, because I do remember the audio. GREAT performance. Nothing really to say about the video.
