Simple question, are U2 as good live, onstage, today as they were in 1992?

I would do a poll if i could figure out how  :-[

Whoever added the poll thank you, i was working on it with my own unique answers but this will do.   :-X

Poll added. I voted "other" because I didn't see them live until 2015. Having said that, I have all the dvd's, and they could never be as good as they were during the ZOOTV tour. But, I thought they were absolutely fabulous wonderful amazing outrageously fantastic when I did finally see them live.

That's a good answer and thank you.

I didn't see them in 1992 so it's hard to compare DVD verses actual being there experience, but damn that ZooTv footage was so great even given how outdated the recording technology was then compared to now. The show and tour had to be a monster.

I stopped going to their gigs after 360. The peak for me was either elevation or ZOOTV.

I guess I can now look forward to everyone of my opinions or claims being turned into a poll. This is getting old.

I find the band less exciting than they used to be. The absolute peak of u2 live, for my taste, was Zoo TV tour. Many of the "classics" in the set today sound a bit stale and past their best. There are a few exceptions. Id sum it up by saying that modern u2 should stick to mostly touring post 2000 songs. That is what best suits them in the modern day

I didn't see them in 1992, so...other???  Realistically, the answer is probably no because of the almost thirty year difference there.  That would seem to be an unrealistic expectation.  I'm good to have seen a number of their shows, even if none of them rank among their absolute best.

They did do Wild Horses better in Berlin in 2018 than they ever had done before, and I think they're still pretty fantastic live, but they're like 60, of course they're not as good today as they were all those years ago.

WGRYWH was good in 18 but doesnt compare to how they did it in 92. i'm 39 and was like 10 when Zoo TV came through town. I didnt see it. I had no idea who u2 were at 10.

Holy jeez, wons. This is NOT about you! And, if it were, you should be flattered that someone thought enough of your idea to expand on it.
