Been listening to them more lately...

Quite surprised there isn't a bit of love for them around here as they certainly occupy not massively unfamiliar ground to ground u2 have occupied down the years...

I am bit in and out with them myself.

I listened to Interpol more than anyone else the last 3 months of 2020; trying to take a bit of a break from them right now. Still adore those first 3 albums, and really starting to love El Pintor, too.

Enjoying 'Turn on The Bright Lights' more than i did originally.

Great band. Their new album releases next week, so I've been holding off listening to any of the advance singles. I want to go in completely fresh for this one.

I saw them open for U2 back in 2011. Even way up in the nosebleeds they put on a solid show.

I remember a lot of people being into them in the mid-to-late 2000's. It seemed like everyone kind of forgot about them after Our Love to Admire, which is a shame. Their discography is solid and they've been pretty consistent.

I've seen them live twice, once opening for U2 and once as the headline act. I find them moderately interesting, but I can't say I love them

Thinking about it....Interpol must be close to being around for at least 20 years? Im sure i was enjoying the Antics album, around 2005ish

They're doing a 20th anniversary tour for Antics in the UK this November. Link in my previous post.

I never cared for Turn on the Bright Lights much, years back, but I too realized its brilliance. I particularly love Obstacle 1, of course, but Obstacle 2 I may like even more.

I was lucky enough to see them live last fall, and I wish I could share pictures but Imgur has been uncooperative. The sound sucked and Paul's voice wasn't at its best, but man that was awesome hearing tracks like Rest My Chemistry live.
