U2 "S & M" (Concert/Album with Orchestra)
« on: November 26, 2017, 10:04:55 AM »
On my U2 wishlist is for them to pull a Metallica and perform in a concert hall with a symphony orchestra.  Metallica did a double CD with 21 songs.  Let's compile our dream Setlist with songs that must be played in that setting.

I'm starting with some stringy ones to begin with.  Some have secondary synth or outside instrument.

All I Want is You
Miss Sarajevo
Sunday Bloody Sunday
Kite
Hands That Built America
Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me
Tomorrow
Troubles

The whole NLOTH album, plus the songs that didn't make it on, like "Winter" and "soon."

Really, though, I'd rather see them make an album of new material with orchestra than go back and redo old ones.
