10. One of the best buildups, one of The Edge's best solos, one of the best songs they've ever done IMO. The closest they ever got to prog.
Or is it now?

This song puts me right there at the top of the bottom of the slide then I stop and turn and go for a ride then I get to the top and I see you again.

Rounded to 10.

9.  My favourite from the album from that very first listen.  An understated intro and a dynamic outro and solo.  I typically tend to put a good deal of emphasis on lyrics.  Sometimes, exceptions are to be made.

5. I quite like this song.

This album frustrates me.

Cedars Of Lebanon is an absolutely outstanding song, and there are 4 others I REALLY like too (NLOTH, Magnificent, White As Snow and Fez/Being Born).

There a a couple of 'nearly there but not quite tracks' - Magnificent, Unknown Caller and Breathe

Then there is utter crap - Boots, IGCIIDGCT and SUC

Frustratingly inconsistent. It is however, my favorite album since Pop.

Ill elaborate on my previous post.

Replace Boots/Crazy/UC with Soon and the Linear version of Winter

Replace the album version of NLOTH with the alternate version.

Boom. Good, solid album!

You see this is what I mean.  For "utter crap" you give it a 5.  That doesn't work for me.  Crap for me would be something like Peace on Earth and I would award it a 1.  A five point song for me would be LNOE because I consider it average by U2 standards as well as probably my least favourite song on Pop.

Winter and an alternative version of NLOTH work for me.  I'd keep Boots but lose SUC and IGCIIDGCT.  A good but not great ten track album.  Of course it would open with Fez/BB and I'd keep the Exile's mitts off of the mix of Breathe and UC.

My bad, and Typo, I meant to TYPE SUC in there, not UC - UC got a 5 from me because its an average song. Sorry. Ive edited my original post.

Gave it an 8. I like the song, quite a bit. I like the chorus
In the garden I was playing the tart
I kissed your lips and broke your heart
You
You were acting like it was the end of the world
