Nevermind, just the RSD vinyl release teasers
« on: August 27, 2020, 09:39:47 PM »
update false alarm, I should know better

U2’s Facebook posted two new very brief animated vids. One is the image attached below with a driving cymbals sound, the second sounds like the start of11 O’Clock Tick Tock with more of a ticking clock mix to it. Intriguing. Probably just a remix of 11 O’Clock, which I’m good with because it’s one of my favourite songs

The Edge: “[Eno] would love to see us making albums a bit more like [Zooropa]. Where we go, ‘You know what? We’re not going to second-guess any of this. Let’s just go for it.’”

U2 Fans: We'd all love to see that, Edge.

That’s the old logo they used for Boy/Girl in 1979.

Ooooooh!  ;D

U2 posted that 11 hours ago and I posted it after 11am, and the song is most likely 11 0’Clock Tick Tock

Sure does. Too bad I don’t like 11OCTT studio version, cause I’d be 30$ poorer.

Live is where it lives

When I was in high school and had UABRS spinning every day, it was my favorite.

Imagine the letdown when, years later, I got to hear the studio version.  ;D

Saaaaame.

There's a reason 11OTT lives on UABRS.

I assume the same goes for Party Girl.

Crazy how a live performance can transform them. Electric Co is good on the album, but I think even better on UABRS.

We don't talk about UABRS all that often since it's not a studio album, but it is a super important part of the canon. If I had started on UABRS, I would have been converted by it.

The LP cover and inner art make better album covers for SoI.
