Another easy one.

Metallica - Master of Puppets. Song and Album of the year.

“Albums still matter,” he said to the crowd of pop star and music luminaries. “Like books and black lives"

In your Eyes - Peter Gabriel

(and So would most likely be my pick as best album)
First Chair. Last Call.

With mad respect to the following albums:

Master Of Puppets - Metallica
Peace Sells, But Who's Buying - Megadeth
Reign In Blood - Slayer
Parade - Prince
and The Queen Is Dead - The Smiths, my Album of the year was So by Peter Gabriel. As for the song of the year, I thought it was going to be horrendously difficult to pick anything less than a 5-way tie (which would've included Madonna's "Open Your Heart" for sure), but it turned out to be quite easy.

"Is Your Love Strong Enough" - Bryan Ferry (feat. David Gilmour)
