Something tells me someone will have another shout for a certain British female singer...

Gotta keep the boys in the fight, so here’s my pick.

Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me - U2
First Chair. Last Call.

Another great year...

Some brilliant albums.

PJ Harvey - To Bring You My Love
Pulp - Different Class
Slowdive - Pygmalion
Radiohead - The Bends
Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie and The Infinite Sadness
Bjork - Post...from it 'Hyperballad' was very close to being my pick here.

I am going to go with a track from the debut album by Garbage though for 1995.

In my view a criminally underrated band and their debut is an album I still play now.

Queer - Garbage.

For me that track is the standout single. It was a very good year for music.

Honorable mentions to UFO, U2 and Garbage

That tune was incredible live.

...for me, this one finally came down to U2's "Your Blue Room," Smashing Pumpkins' "Muzzle," and this Switchblade Sympnohy song, "Dissolve." I'm probably going to want to change this to "Muzzle" tomorrow, but today it's SwSy.

Hyperballad - Björk

It’s hard to leave PJ Harvey behind on this one.

Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me

That year was a big one I graduated high school and started college at UMASS.  I worked at an amusement park called Riverside, and rode this sky dive simulation ride called the sky coaster, and guess what song was playing!  Yup Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me, I can still feel the thrill of that ride when I hear the song sometimes.

Great pick in Hyperballad (see my comments about it earlier)

Out of interest which song from TBYML would you have thrown in?
