Album of the 90's vote.
« on: May 26, 2020, 06:12:01 AM »
Came across this on BBC website.

It is a pretty uninspiring list for the most part as it is extremely mainstream, but hey it is what it is....and there are some belters on it.

Achtung Baby is on it, so if you want to support u2 you can.

Anyway here

Just yesterday I was in the car with my 21 yo son and he put on this one, saying itís one of the most influential albums of all time.

Lauryn Hill - The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill

(btw, canít vote from my location, so please add 1 for AB for me  ;) )

"This vote is not available in your location". But, yeah, I would have voted for AB.

I have never heard that Lauryn Hill album, it does get a lot of good press though....

The 'correct' answer to this album of the 90's lark is of course Rid of Me, but as that is far too much for the Beeb's poll then i was left with my finger hovering over AB, OK Computer, Screamadelica and Mezzanine.

I am sorry but in the end i went for OK Computer.

To be fair AB pretty much takes number 2 spot for me on that list.
