Best Lead Singer and Instrumentalist

So here is another thread on how Bono was never a refined guitar player and also really could not play and sing simultaneously.  Not a hack on him, just a comment that it is difficult.

So who is a good lead singer but also, a consistently good a good instrumentalist?  A few of examples to get you thinking,

Sting - Bass
Don Henley - Drums
Hendrix - Guitar
Donald Fagen - Keyboards
