Zooropa Live 360 Tour
« on: April 17, 2020, 06:18:20 AM »
The Edge: “[Eno] would love to see us making albums a bit more like [Zooropa]. Where we go, ‘You know what? We’re not going to second-guess any of this. Let’s just go for it.’”

U2 Fans: We'd all love to see that, Edge.

This was a big thrill to see on tour. I just wish the band had been visible for it; it was weird seeing all the lights and visuals without being able to see much of the actual members.

I’ve never experienced Zooropa live. Yeah it was a bit weird seeing the hide in the curtain, but it looked like the lights and colours immersed you in the sound?

Great find Cat!

Zooropa was a perfect addition to the 360 Tour.  The song itself is art,  and this performance matches it well.  I do actually like the way the stage lights nearly cover them so you might not know they are in there - lost behind the expanded beehive of lights - unless you knew where to look.

There's only a handful of drones in the hive,  but there's thousands of queens watching and waiting,  ready to mate.  Is your soul sticky and sweet or fire and poison?

Back during the tour, Willie Williams (his studio), uploaded a vid that showed the screen expanding.

U2 Questions Screen Content:

When I viewed this video for the first time, I posted in the comments:
"This whole sequence should be intro to the band playing ZOOROPA.. Seriously, how good would it be if they played it."

No joke, they played Zooropa something like 2 months after I posted the comment.
I always think I had a hand in the band playing it after Willie saw my comment and mentioned it to the band.
