It's not a lack of money that's behind the shortage of PPE, it's a global lack of supply.  Every country is trying to get as much as they can.

I think it's a lack of foresight, will and planning. PPE is straightforward stuff

I have issues with that, sorry. It’s not the responsibility of artists to purchase public healthcare supplies. Very kind and generous of them, though.

It's a lack of giving a shite and a result of cost cutting/underfunding.

That's $10million the Irish government can spend on wage assistance for people out of work instead of medical gear. You'd hope.
The Edge: “[Eno] would love to see us making albums a bit more like [Zooropa]. Where we go, ‘You know what? We’re not going to second-guess any of this. Let’s just go for it.’”

U2 Fans: We'd all love to see that, Edge.

They probably stipulated where the money should go.  Now it's up to the Irish government to try to get their hands on the equipment.

Oh yeah absolutely. I just meant the gov doesn't have to worry about medical equipment, they can spend their sheckles on other essentials. You'd hope.

They've probably got a shortage of PPE like most countries.
