I am breaking my internet fast for a quick update - hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. They have closed all nonessential things here in MN and I have been working from home for the past two weeks. Still have a job (even got a promotion and a raise three weeks ago) and my job is insulated from the potential downturn thus far (I'm a fraud analyst in the online payments/e-commerce industry) so I am thankful for that. This self-imposed quarantine is rather isolating, but I am filling my time with playing piano and watching spy movies (always a favorite of mine). I'm also thankful that I am able to get out periodically for bike rides around the lake that I live on. If there is something to be gained from all this, it is the rediscovery of small pleasures.Things are okay. I pray that you are all taking safety precautions in this precarious time and doing okay. You are all in my thoughts.

Well, looks like you lot will have to put up with me for awhile, it appears my workplace will be closed until at least mid-April. Hope I can keep affording the internet connection. Hope we're all still here by then. Be safe, folks. Be well.
