Songs you would like played at your funeral?
« on: March 13, 2020, 11:12:18 AM »
Not really meant as a morbid topic. Im just interested in the tunes my fellow u2 fans hold close to their hearts

I would really like The Waterboys: Stolen Child played at my Celebration Of Life ceremony. Simply put, it is one of the most beautiful and moving tunes i have ever heard. A beautiful send off , onwards to the next part of the journey.

In the garden I was playing the tart
I kissed your lips and broke your heart
You
You were acting like it was the end of the world

As much as i love u2, more than any other music act in history....ironically, none of my funeral tunes would come from the band.

That's a great choice actually

Actually come to think of it,  why not just play the entire album Unforgettable Fire.   ;D

Not a bad sendoff...... .  .  .  .   .   .   .    .    .     .     .      .      .        .         .          .           .            .             .                .
