ZOO TV LIVE IN AUSTRALIA  the risk they had to take even with Adams issues .That was their most expensive tour when finances for them were not completely secure. That risk paid off and those who never knew of U2 now did. They went outside the box  brillant.

Of all the live DVDs...over all, i have gleaned the most pleasure from Rattle And Hum. It really just evokes such brilliant memories for me, when i think about it.
Much like with the music.....the DVDs since 2000 just dont compare to the likes of UABRS, Rattle And Hum, Zoo TV. Just my opinion

For the record...i have barely watched the live DVDs since 2000. Slane is good..i will concede that....but the others just dont invoke the same excitement.

As for the 360 DVD...i think i have watched it a couple of time. And i havent even bothered buying any live DVDs (I think theres only 1?) after the 360 tour.

I love every single one of them...they each have their own character and highlights, but ZOOTV is tops.

POPMART Mexico City,  then ZOO TV Sydney,  U2 Go Home,  Elevation Boston,

I would love to consider Joshua Tree Tour 2017 - or whatever they would call it - but we don't have it,  so.... ::)

YES!  The giant lava lamp during MW,  the space ship on screen landing,  and the giant heart during ONE.  The entire show as breathtaking...my first ever u2 concert....too bad we started out the day drinking champagne at brunch though  :o

I deeply envy you having been there...even if you weren't too sober! I'm actually green with envy.

Don't envy,  we were so drunk we barely remember a thing!  It almost felt like a drive in movie playing our favorite songs while we danced on top of our car in a drunken stupor.  The UFO's on screen landing and the giant lemon flying around the stadium made sense among all of the chaos.  Seriously though - it was great - an out of body experience.  You don't get too many of those in this life...

Too funny. I had one of those times...the first time I went to see Star Wars in the theater. When we (six of us packed into a little car) arrived at the theater, smoke was pouring out of the windows, we opened the doors, beer cans fell out and had to be retrieved,...we snuck a lot of beer into the place, and back then you could often "light up" without getting bothered about it. After the movie, we all decided we'd have to go back the next night to see what the movie was like.  ;D
