This song...if I was forced to rate U2 songs from best to worst, this song would be in my bottom five. I DO like the bass line. But, the song just bores me.
Sure, bombs are bad...not arguing that at all.
Anyone else?

So I ticked 'Like it'.

A bit repetitive but the beat & passion makes up for that.

As a teenager, thought the middle section was cool. Come to think of it, I still do.

Love it, one of the first deep cuts I remember discovering and really liking.  Love the "I wanna be an air force ranger" part and how the band comes in and plays in time with it afterwards.  Also, I like those wispy background vocals and the bassline.

'War' needed a more laid back song after the loud and proud opener 'Sunday Bloody Sunday' and before the classic 'New Years Day'.

'Seconds' was that perfect song & is also a good little stand alone song.
