This link orders U2 songs by BPM - could help you with a workout playlist.

https://jog.fm/workout-songs/by/u2.u2?sort=bpm

Fastest song? Um, they have The First Time listed at 185bpm. I'm thinking that song is probably 92bpm.

Other highest bpms are SUC, Crumbs, SLABT... whaaa?

Then we have HMTMKMKM. Okay

Slowest bpm award rightly goes to RHMT.

Well, I got all excited about that, and then when I clicked on the link I got:

This site can’t provide a secure connection

Thanks, anyway, laoghaire, but my old laptop is scared of that!

Sorry bout that.

You know, I was thinking more about The First Time. On second thought, it probably really is 185bpm. When I put a mental click track over it, it's really fast. But it reads to the listener at half time, 92.5bpm.

Strange to think of it like that.

The classification is done by a machine, I think. It’s BS. As you guessed they doubled up the tempo of many songs.
A dangerous idea that almost makes sense...
