HTDAAB is easily U2s worst album and no line is their best 21st century effort - like every 21st century album it breaks down in the middle with radio friendly crapola but at least it has a great beginning and a great ending as well as their best outtakes of the 21st century

I’ve always thought it was their worst edited record. The right lineup would have been:

1. Soon
2. Return of stingray guitar
3. No line on the horizon
4. Magnificent (alt edition)
5. Unknown caller
6. Winter
7. Fez / being born
8. Breathe (alternative version)
9. Moment of surrender
10. White as snow
11. Cedars of Lebanon

NLOTH only has 3 horrible songs.

HTDAAB has more than I have fingers to count.

No Line has a decent opener and Bomb has 7 good tracks, one great track, two forgettable ones and then the atrocity that was the i Pad commercial.

Seven? Vertigo, COBL, sometimes - that’s three

Vertigo isn't one of them.

Unknown Caller has to follow Moment of Surrender.

My assessment of Bomb:

SYCMIOYO - holy shit
Vertigo - yeah
COBL - okay
The rest - staring at a wall would be better

Not sure about Stingray there, but that’s a great line up. And I think Boots Fish out of Water remix would fit in nicely.

As the results stand, these are the final U2 album league positions.

1. Achtung Baby
2. The Joshua Tree
3. Zooropa
4. The Unforgettable Fire
5. Pop
6. Boy
7. Rattle and Hum
8. War
9. Songs of Innocence
10. No Line on the Horizon
11. All That You Can't Leave Behind
12. Songs of Experience
13. October
14. How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb

Being objective, the top five are about right, although I expected TUF to have beaten Zooropa in their match to have finished third.  I think Boy is a little too high and NLOTH too low, but other than that we got it just about right.

Top 4 and bottom 4 are logical. Where it’s all wrong is from 5 to 10.

But I expected this from the crowd here.  :P

Pop's definitely in a different league to the albums below it.  Even though NLOTH drew with War, I think No Line should be in 6th place.
