They're good but they're not exactly prolific.

Nowadays, its more about unearthing the odd song here and there that i like....rather than finding whole albums. I listen to a fair bit of BBC 6 music and i hear a lot of contemporary music thro that. None of it is Chart crap tho.

1975 has another new album coming out this year, and the single they just dropped "Me and You Together Song" is pretty darn good.

Jake Bugg's latest single is the best thing I've heard from him since his first album.

Cancamusa dropped a new jam last night, Austra's got something new coming in 5 days (!), Mon Laferte's releasing the entire acoustic show she did last autumn a week from now...

1. That Cancamusa single (Hurican del Fuego), along with her previous one "Amor Abstracto," sound like some cool '90s Japanese cyberpunk movie that never got made. Not like songs from said movie, but like the movie itself. Soundscapes huge and intimate at the same time.

2. Austra's new jam is called "Risk It." It's a killer song, but something about it's pushing me back a little bit. It just feels like they tried to evoke their Olympia album in the final mix and even in the arrangement a bit, and it's too soon for them to be looking backwards. No idea if a new album's anywhere on the horizon, but it doesn't sound like it.

3. I've heard about half of Mon's live acoustic release and son of a BITCH, how can she sing with that much power from a seated position? Song selection's killer, and the way she half-screams that penultimate line in "Paisanes Japones" raises goosebumps in places I didn't think was possible.

...someone above mentioned LaRoux. In some of the music press/sites that I look in on, her upcoming album's being hyped to hell and gone. Hope it's even half as good as they're making it out to be; that woman's pretty damn good, but the buzz is crazy.
