He has a track record of deleting his account but like a boomerang he always comes back.

Maybe he's currently experiencing personal problems.

Honestly - not 100% sure.

I am sure I will not be doing him a disservice  by putting it out in open that he was unhappy with things around here and wanted us to take a harder line around what he saw as "trolling" and the tone of some of the interactions between members.

There was some perfectly reasoned discussion among some of us mods around these areas which was ongoing, but he has now deleted his account.

That is as much as i know.

I'm sad to see him go - hopefully he may just be taking a rest and will return, he hasn't said anything to me so i don't know....maybe other mods know more/can share more.

I just hope he is OK he always seemed to get a fair bit out of here in terms of support with stuff he deals with, and he was always helpful to others!

Yeah with things like trolling I think it's important to nip it in the bud.

Gotcha, an tha. Sorry to hear it.

He has a track record of deleting his account but like a boomerang he always comes back.

Maybe he's currently experiencing personal problems.

His account number was 28, one of the originals, which discounts the theory of frequently deleting his account.

I always like him,  seems like a reasonable and pleasant fellow in his posts.  A "break" can do one good,  whether you delete the account or not,  it's good to step away from the routine especially if something is eating away at you.

I do hope he comes back soon or after a break,  whichever he chooses.  We need more people like him here.
