I dont think it has ever been under represented as an album. In the last few tours, we have had Pride, ASOH, MLK, Bad and TUF all played from that album. That said, the songs that havent been played are the real interesting tracks on the album.

The should be influenced by the sounds on their next album.  Bring back Danny Lanois.

In what way?

Live? Stylistically on next record?....

I can think of many worse ways they could spend their time. I'm hoping Book Of Your Heart is showing them the way forward. Then we may get great tones and atmospherics like TUF but updated. Throw in stuff like the thought provoking best moments of NLOTH and some electronica and I'll be a happy boy.

That would suit me to the ground. More of Book Of Your Heart and less of TBTAYIM

It's my favorite in terms of production and overall sound. No other record sounds quite like it. I'd love for them to aim for that again.

True.

I doubt modern day u2 would be especially interested in the sort of sonic textures and ambiance that permeates much of that record though.

It has been recorded and it’s ready to be released, according to wons. Songs of Ascent is the name IIRC.  ;D

It is time to jib this 'songs of' lark IMHO

Although i am up for hearing a less poppy/MOR type record and one that is less commercial sounding....which i believe was the idea of SoA....

I don't want to hear pop songs and songs that you want to be over.
