Should U2 revisit this record?
I can think of many worse ways they could spend their time. I'm hoping Book Of Your Heart is showing them the way forward. Then we may get great tones and atmospherics like TUF but updated. Throw in stuff like the thought provoking best moments of NLOTH and some electronica and I'll be a happy boy.

It's my favorite in terms of production and overall sound. No other record sounds quite like it. I'd love for them to aim for that again.

Songs of Ascent is the name IIRC.

It is time to jib this 'songs of' lark IMHOAlthough i am up for hearing a less poppy/MOR type record and one that is less commercial sounding....which i believe was the idea of SoA....
