R&H but it's kind of an outlier from the others so if you take it out of the mix i enjoy Zoo TV Sydney and Slane Castle the most.

Yeah, I wasn't sure whether to include R&H or not...it's more of a movie than a show...but there's a lot of live stuff, so.....

I know a lot of people hold a high regard for Red Rocks but i have never really been able to get that into it.  Seems so dated to me and a phase of the band that i always thought paled in comparison with what would soon follow although i can appreciate their energy in the performance.

Oh, man...I LOVE Red Rocks...the energy, the fun they seem to be enjoying, the raw edges (pardon the pun). Watching that...you can see how far they are going to go.
I voted for Sydney, though.

I went with POPMART but honestly Slane Castle is very special i might have chosen it instead because there is a castle on the hill overlooking the show.  Can't get a lot more special than that,  and it was a great show.

Slane WAS great...that version of Kite...just too hard. The way I chose which one to vote for...

Slane = Kite
R&H = Streets
I&E = Until The End of the World
Red Rocks = Gloria, 40
Boston = Bullet The Blue Sky, The Fly
Chicago = Electric Co, Zoo Station, Miracle Drug
360 = Ultraviolet
Popmart = Mofo, Last Night On Earth, UTEOTW, BOOMCHA!, Velvet Dress
Zoo TV = Every single song...THAT is how I decided.

ZooTV was absolute bonkers in the best possible way.  I remember watching that video (on VHS,  no less) after coming back from a night on the town,  just watching it unable to pass out and go to sleep.  It really did something to me,  for me,  etc.  Turn the lights off in the room and pull up a chair,  it's one of those things were i felt like i was actually there in attendance.  I could smell the smoke going off around me,  i could feel the buildup and the frenzy before the band took to the stage,  when people were throwing water or drinks around,  i would get wet.  The bass thumping in your chest and the stage lights covered in fog,  calling out to the heavens at the end of 'running to stand still',  the harmonica,  then you know what comes next after that....

I don't think anything could ever top Zoo Tv on any level - it's an impossible feat.  So i chose POPMART because it's where i first saw the band,  even if it was a different city than the official release and also i really don't remember much of it.  It was the first time where i was with them in the beginning.... and all these years later i still haven't left.

Slane Caste is probably my favorite overall, although Mexico City is a really close second. I still have the edition with the pop-up Edge. ;D

Has to be elevation Boston. Much as the record they were touring was mostly shit, that tour was the sweet spot for the DVD releases.

The same tour did not work outside so Slane doesn’t get the vote

360 was utter shit

UABRS was iconic but I can’t get past the short guys dad dancing

POPMART is a contender

ZOOTV is a contender

Vertigo is so badly made I’m amazed it was released

R&H makes me feel more anti American than I already feel

All the experience bollocks is nearly as bad as 360

I am sorry but I find this victimisation genuinely upsetting. I just posted a perfectly reasonable and well thought out appraisal of U2’s dvd releases. Looks like this forum might not be too different from @u2 after all
