What Movies you have watched lately?

Jurassic World - Rebirth. It was decent enough. Nothing we havent seen before really. 6/10

For me, totally meh. 4/10.

In this movie, they hybridised the Dinosaurs........which to me, made it less enjoyable (knowing the dinosaurs were made up).

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid

Watched this the other night. I’m not as big on this one as many people are. I think it would work better as a straight drama than trying to add the comedic elements. Newman and Redford obviously work well together and it’s a decent watch, but it’s not one of the great films of its era like it’s made out to be.

One of my all-time favorites. Same way I feel about Field of Dreams. Movies I watched countless times.

Not necessarily masterpieces, but they had something I truly connected with when younger.

One Battle After Another

What a let down. This movie’s been getting great reviews and has an all star cast and director, but I walked out of it disappointed.

Leo DiCaprio plays a burnt out revolutionary that is raising his daughter while in hiding from Sean Penn’s character, a military guy who’s a bit crazy. The first half of the 3 hr movie dragged and the 2nd half picked up. The problem is that other then the daughter none of the main characters are at all likeable, and Leo doesn’t really have much to do other than be a fuck up. If they had cut an hour out it they could have made a decent movies

I watched The Conjouring - Last Rites last night. The story was decent, but scares were thin on the ground. Id like to know which of the bits were "real events". Is there something, from other realms, we know nothing about?? SPOOKY SH1T that!

No saturday night movie this week. I decided to mix things up and trade my usual movie for a few episodes of Alien Earth. Im up to ep 4 and really enjoying it, so far.
