No, seriously. That's pretty much the whole song. Just alternate between that and G-D-A during most of it in various forms. Middle 8 is Em-G-D.

As a novice bassist/guitarist, I knew the song sounded similar to YTBTAM, just couldn't put my finger on exactly how. All makes sense now, though.

Yeah, I can't stop humming the Best Thing chorus over most of it now, haha. The band does seem to love those four chords in particular though. They make up the choruses to songs like The Miracle and In a Little While too.
