Friday said it's a song he wishes he'd written. I love it, I just wish U2 had done something with it.

Soon, Mercy, MoS, Magnificent, the "let me in the sound" part of Boots, Fez... what an album NLOTH could have been! Even though Soon came out almost a year later, I'm pretty sure they worked on it for NLOTH?

If u2 still had full control of their artistic faculties this is the kind of stuff they'd go with more and promote too.

But shite like the best thing and summer of love is what they think shows them in their best light now.

It makes me want to go and shake them to wake the fuck up

MOFO came across my playlist the other day, and as I listened (which I love BTW) it occurred to me how could this be that same band the came out with YTBTAM or California etc, but then the same can be said how could it be the same band that came out with stuff like SBS or Gloria and the like?
