10! It's hard to explain now how much of a shock to the system this record was when it was first unleashed. The new U2, the fly goggles, the guitar sound, Bono's vocals, the video ... The Joshua Tree this was not. A song that defied the U2 of the 90s. 10/10 for sure. I wish it was more of a staple in the set list.

The first new song I heard as an embryonic U2 fan.  Mind... Absolutely... Blown!   

What an incredible time to be a fan - the video clip with the gritty East Berlin / Iron Curtain feel, Bono's "Fly" character - the dilapidated industrial/tech visual style - ushering in the Zoo TV juggernaut.  Extraordinary reboot by the band. 

Also the song that made me want to learn guitar (my other non-human love in my life).  That guitar solo... still gives me chills.

... sorry, almost forgot - 10/10.

This is top-10 U2 right here. Great inclusion of industrial influences. Also home to one of Edge's most brilliant solos.

Just imagine hearing this after being a fan since War. Mind blown isn't enough.
