How to upload your own images to posts
« on: October 19, 2017, 12:38:00 AM »
Hey guys!

To keep our site from becoming too bloated, we encourage everyone to use an offsite image storage service such as imgur. You can still attach images here on the site, but be advised that there's a limit to the storage size, so it's much easier to just use imgur. Here's some instructions for using it on the Talk U2 forums:

1. Go to imgur.com and click the New Post button:

2. Upload your image(s) here

3. Right-click your image on imgur and click "Copy image address"

4. In your posts on here, click the img button and paste your imgur image address between the tags.

As always, if you have any questions please let me know!

Thanks!

Using the tapatalk app works also. Tapatalk has an image storage facility and when you post from within tapatalk it embeds the image hypertext for you...

Ahh, fancy that! I had no idea Tapa had that functionality built-in. Super convenient.
