This is surprising, Melbourne's population is (4.4 million) roughly the same as Sydney (4.6 million) which is getting a second show, so I don't think they would have any trouble selling out a second Melbourne show, there's loads of U2 fans in Victoria. Is there another reason they've cancelled it?

Still haven’t sold out the first show. Combination of presale/general sale screw up (technological or human error), scalpers, and pricing. LN will never admit to the screw up and seat pricing structure putting people off though. With Sydney, you have a lot of overseas people going too, it’s a more exciting place for a concert (like NYC or London).

Anyway, the band has an extra day off. What can they do in Australia?

Bono could ask Kylie to host their Neighbours tour.

The band could go to Gumbuya Park. Lots of fun there. It’s a pity Wobbies World closed down, Larry would have loved it. Just watch this ad, tell me Larry would love the crocodile ride!
