SOE vinyl versions delayed

It says the vinyl will be delayed a week! It's for whole Europe, it will be available on 8th December. Thats a pity! I'm afraid I have to wait a whole week with listening (that's probably not gonna happen).

I couldn't find an English source (yet)

I'll listen to it once next friday (next friday already), and then do some critism on this forum  ;). And then listen to it again the 8th.

This is a big problem in general. I've seen a number of vinyl and reissues (Automatic for the People reissue, Fever to Tell remaster, etc.) be delayed or out of stock, even when you pre-order. This is becoming a bigger trend and it's unfortunate. By now artists should be aware of how big the vinyl market is becoming and should be pressing them effectively.

I have a feeling this release was pretty good planned and organised. It wasn't enough. I really thought those discs were pressed two weeks ago

I think It's the lack of pressing plants. The album will already be pressed but wether or not enough are packaged, sealed, and distributed to the right areas of the world is another issue.

It's a classic case of supply not meeting demand. And it applies to the whole vinyl segment.

aw man i was so excited to listen to this on vinyl day 1. guess i'll have to listen to the digital version for a week first

Right now Amazon has an estimated delivery date of December 1 for my vinyl. We'll see if that actually holds once it's released.

Yea, i bet they're still writing new lyrics and tweeking some riffs.  There was an election somewhere in the world last week that the band didn't agree with the results of that they want to be sure to include.
