I like this album a lot. The Troubles, alternate version is my favorite on this album. Least fav would be This Is Where You Can Reach Me Now, and it's okay. And, yes, I'm the fool who even loves The Miracle.

SOI is just fine. There are some songs I love (Troubles, SLABT, Iris, TCB, CR, EBW- piano version) and the rest i like. Not a song I dislike even though it took me some time to appreciate California and TIWYCRMN. Films of Innocence helped me with this.

Those were my last two as well. Was entirely indifferent to TIWYCRMN and haaaated California, but one day TIWYCRMN clicked, and another day California suddenly became clear. 

I was yet another regarding TIWYCRMN and California (especially the latter).  Minor nitpicks in the grand scheme, but I think it was the synth and intro respectively in the two songs (and I do like a few Beach Boys songs).  Reach now ranks well on my favourites from the album, and I also find California to be a good listen.

Who knows maybe I could earn enough cabbage to purchase a u2.com membership for 10 consecutive years

SoI is my second fave u2 album since the turn of the Millenium. I like it all, with the exception of The Miracle. But i will listen to it of the album is on.
Had Bono still been able to play guitar, i always thought that TIWYCRMN would have made a great opener to the I&E tour, but it needed a second (acoustic) guitar, to drive it along.
