The TalkU2 Forum U2 Greatest Hits Album Compiled!

Hello everyone, I made a new thread for people to discuss the results of a top 10 U2 songs poll I just compiled. I felt that it would be good to start fresh rather then tack it onto the end of a long post.  If you haven't yet given your top 10, feel free to add it here

Things About Methodology
Ranking a song #1 gives it a score of 10, #2 gives it a 9, etc. I added up all the scores from all the different people on all the different songs. In the event of a tie, I will pick the song that was on more people's lists.  For those who said, no particular order, each song you picked was given a 5, as that balances the numbers out by it being in the middle. 

WITHOUT FURTHER ADO
1. Until the End of the World (80 points)
2. Where the Streets Have No Name (74 points)
3. Bad (71 points)
4. Acrobat (66 points)
5. Stay (55 points)
6. A Sort of Homecoming (54 points)
7. Ultra Violet (Light My Way) (45 points)
8a. Running to Stand Still (44 points, featured on 8 lists)
8b. Mofo (44 points, featured on 6 lists)
9a. The Fly (38 points, featured on 9 lists)
9b. One (38 points, featured on 6 lists)
10. Please (33 points)

Any thoughts, surprises, or any other ideas on how this list looks, and what you think about it, feel free to comment! If you like this concept, let me know, and ill start some series of rankings, with non album tracks coming next.

I can tell I'm on talku2 board when Mofo makes the cut over NYD.

Discerning? Is THAT what we are? 

Acrobat AND Ultraviolet making the list, a bit of a surprise for me.  Like them both myself, just would not think they would both make a top 10 list.

UV doesn't surprise me. The biggest surprise, in my opinion, is that The Fly isn't higher up in the standings.

Nice list of songs. Lots of goodies on there. No songs i would take issue with. I am suprised tho, to see Ultraviolet score so high. I knew it had its admirers, but had no clue it would prove so popular in a vote, when compared to other u2 songs

Five of the top seven songs on this list have won a U2 song tournament in the past over on the other forum.

So it doesn't surprise me.
