In college I was really big into a Rush. I haven't listened to them much in recent years though.

I dig them. Great sound from a three piece band. Neil Pert is a hell of a drummer.

Been a big fan since Hemispheres came out. Got to see them 7 times over the years (1st time on Moving Pictures tour, last time on Snakes And Arrows), but I'll probably always be kicking myself over missing them on their Grace Under Pressure, Power Windows, and Clockwork Angels tours.

My brother is a huge fan and I in turn listened to them to see what they were all about.  I never really got into them too much.  I did see them back in 1997 on the Test for Echo tour...my brother had an extra ticket.

Had a neighbor in 2003 showed me Rush in Rio DVD.  Got hooked on some songs

Distant Early Warning
Subdivisions
Red Sector A
Time Stand Still

Some of my favs.  Saw them

These are just some of the Rush songs I would think a U2 fan could get into.  Amazing band.

The Spirit of Radio and Tom Sawyer are my favs. Not a huge fan but they got some good songs.

"Ceiling Unlimited" is very U2-ish, too.

moving on...incredible from beginning to end, but it's the 12 seconds beginning at 0:30 that just kills me every time.   :o

Tom Sawyer does nothing for me.  I find some great hidden gems.
