Nobody here should tell you what you should or should not post/who you should or should not 'invite'...i'll just add this in here as my personal opinion...
It is important that this forum crafts in time its own identity - not just be seen as a breakaway of atu2 or a place where people who may feel they have axes to grind about elsewhere can grind them.
The past is the past and whatever has gone on over on atu2 in the past has no real bearing on what will happen on here (forum friendships and an interest in u2 being obvious exceptions).....
The view of the mods here in my view is that we should show atu2 and the people who do and have run it the respect it and they absolutely deserve.
There has been a reaching out respectfully asking if it is ok to 'point out this place exists' over on atu2 to the admin there - if they say yes then il_capo or tiger will post something on that forum - if it isn't something they want to allow then that decision will be respected totally.
This place is an exciting new place and it will take time to build the community here - I would like to think we can all build it with its own distinct identity as a place where people want to engage and spend time - with the emphasis on u2 and the future in an environment full of respect, civility, fun and open thought provoking discourse.....
